You don’t need to spill your whole life story in the first session (or even the second).

I encourage you to commit yourself to showing up. Our sessions will be a guided build where we get to know each other, and start unpacking things at a pace that doesn’t feel like floodgates bursting open.

Being seen is the most powerful form of connection there is and I built my practice on that.

This isn’t a place where we’ll just talk in circles or I nod along until the timer buzzes. Our time together is valuable to me and your roadmap matters; where you have been and where you want to go, what you are carrying and what you want to put down.

I get that.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent two decades working in policy as a reporter and social worker, with huge gaps to raise a family of six. Serving on military bases overseas and exploring the immense impact of wellness in every facet and family is what brought me into private practice in Northern Virginia.

Through my personal therapy work, I found language and perspectives that brought healing and purpose to my life beyond what my younger self could have ever dreamed.

I know the childhood trauma, the broken relationships, the questioning of worth, and the messy bravery that comes when you decide to show up for yourself.
